Same problem here -all we could hear was the click of a timer but no motor starting - we tipped it on its side and gave the motor a whack with a spanner from underneath, it's ok now, but you prob would not want to try this on a newer machine. Before anybody gains a false impresssion, I should say this machine has worked well for 8+ years in a damp cellar, so I would not be surprised if some of the contacts have oxidised. I would certainly buy Bosch again.
