Mend Ignis IG 96 LA Washing Machine Motor Control Board

Ignis IG 96 LA washer/dryer motor not working?

Ignis IG 96 LA washer/dryer. It was functioning correctly almost all the whole way through the cycle, when the drum action stopped completely. I have checked it all the way through a new cycle, and the timer is working ok, filling and draining etc, but the motor is not operating the drum. The belt is ok, and I see no loose wires, so am wondering if the control board could be the problem?

Please don't bother answering this question, as I found the problem. The wiring harness was rubbing on the pulley wheel in the drum, and one wire was shorted and almost cut through.Tony George
