How can I fix my tv, JVC, ACV36050?

The menu, sound, channel and power panel on front of the tv fell inside the tv as I was attempting to change from tv to video mode. Now the tv comes on but I have a big black square in the middle of the picture. How do I get rid of this? I have tried using a universal remote but does not work I cannot get the universal remote to accept any tv code is this because the panel is inside the TV? Please help me!!!
