no picture no sound ilo 42 plasma?

any advice in removing the back panel? anything to be aware of? I need to replace a speaker... cracking sounds.

hi ken sounds like the power board is at fault .get hold of a good repair man he will be able to replace the dodgy capacitors. if you are confident using a soldiering iron you can repair yourself ,hears how .remove rear panel track down pcu board ,inspect capacitors for bulging or leaking.WARNING only go inside the set if you have basic electronic skills and the tv is out of warranty. good luck and please be carefull.
