Mend CPI DNA 50 Dna Spark Plug

my dna 50 loses its spark?

the dna 50 starts then dies soon after. ive taken the plug lead off and put another plug in it then put it next to the barrel the spark is good but then it gets weak and dissapears. if you leave it for a little while it starts again then dies soon after. i have put a second hand cdi unit on but to no aveil. im losing the will to live can anybody help me please.

it will be the primary ignition coil in the generator windings,this is common as the heat makes it expand and the coil seperates slightly,replace it as a complete stator assembly get one off ebay.ps i am a bike mechanic so i know my stuff :)
