service unknown on eurovox?

thats good , just rember to stay away from factory reset, , because it changes the symbol rate , that means when you do a scann it is scanning the wrong transponder, and it will say (unknown service) but its is all right to do a (powerscann ) if your channells go missing , again , just do a (channell update ) its a fast scan , good luck sherry ....

ok , i want you to check the symbol rate" if i can rember the way around that menu, as i dont have a eurovox, here, (press menu" go to (installation) go down the list to (user installation) ok that" the pin number should be 0000 enter that.(the blue button for powerscann box)... a new window opens up . it will say (full power scann box ) now on that list , it should say (start 100 mzh) (stop 870 mzh) then under that it will say the (symbol rate) as im in dublin , im not sure what V..m is , because we dont have it here, but the two rates are 6887 and 6952, so enter the one that you dont have into the box with your remote, when you have changed the rate to the one you dont have (exit all the way back out to the tv ,,,,, tell me what rate is showing in that box , i think it gone back to the default one 6952 . and it should be 6887 .

the codes are right... i put them in this evening... and yes i think you might be right.... i most probably have messed the frequenzy or something. im hopeless i know lol... im on v.... m..... wolverhampton x

how long is it since you put codes into it, 1 day 2 days a week ? first of all you need to know if the old codes you have in the code box are (right ) up to date for tonight" you need to get that part out of the way first, are you on ntl / tellywest ect. i think you might have changed the (symbol rate) when you did a factory setting ,

hi mick.... everytime the codes went i had to manually put them in...but the codes never went when i did power scan....it was working fine... i had lost sports channels so was trying to get them back... when scan finished thats when it said service unknown and couldnt view any channels... i can still see channels at the top of screen.... like bbc1... bbc2 etc... but no picture

if you only are able to look at few channells, they must be the free ones , and when you press the (ok) on the remote it gives you a full list of channells A toZ ? was that box updateing itself , everytime the codes changed or did you have to enter them yourself?

when i have done power scan i do have full channel list... but it wont let me view channels, its just service unknown..... so i have to go to factory settings then scan it... but onkly have few channels... if that makes any sense ... im in the west midlands area.... thanks for your post... its driving me mad lol x

have you got a (full channell list) ? even if their showing scrambled , or unknown , and are you in the uk or Ireland?
