AEG Santo fridge keeps freezing up. ?

My AEG Santo 72348KA 'Frost Free' fridge keeps freezing up at the back, I’ve tried defrosting it for several days to make sure that the evaporator inside the back panel got fully defrosted. But a week later the problem is back, the back panel is covered in ice again.

The temperature display shows 5 or 7 deg depending on what it has been set at, and doesn’t change or flash etc!

This thing cost nearly £700, but the £100 under counter unit that I use while I defrost the AEG works fine!

I called a service guy, who said it needed defrosting - 'Einstein II' he said the thermister, and compressor were working fine, other wise the unit would either freeze all the food, or not cool at all.

Any Ideas Please

Got this from a service agent

The rear wall panel of the fridge covers with frost when the compressor is running, and defrosts when the compressor is off.
If your temperature is set to low against the ambient temperature of the room then the compressor runs constantly or starts up to soon.
This then does not give the defrosting cycle enough time to work and ice will slowly build up.
Defrost completely then set to a higher temperature until the problem stops.
The ambient temperature of all rooms/kitchens are not all the same so the temperature of the fridge compartment has to be set for your circumstances

Mine is doing exactly the same.... anyone found a solution yet ?
I think I am still covered by a John Lewis 5 year warrenty, but can't find my guarantee or receipt !

Is it freezing badly in 1 spot on the evapourator?.If it is this can sometimes be due to a gasing issue
