my two way new switch wont switch off at other switch?

I have wired the switches in parrallel mirroring wiring positions but when switching the light on at either end the opposite switch will not switch off the light. help

At one switch there should be 2 extra wires, one goes into L1, the other to L2.

Old wiring colours - make sure the yellow goes to Com on both switches.
New colours - make sure the black goes to Com.
