Mend HP iPAQ Hp Manual Help

HP iPAQ has dud battery?

Anyone know how to change the battery in an HP iPAQ? The manual is no help and all I can get from PC World or Maplin is "send it back to HP" which I would rather not have to do. So, two questions really - what sort of battery do I need and how do I install it?
