How can i fix my Philips 32" crt tv?

My TV wont turn on anymore, i have a Philips 32" widescreen CRT tv that is about 6 years old from new. i power it up as usual but now the picture wont come on, if i keep turning on and off via the remote it normally comes back, but the time it takes varies from 5 minutes to 12 hours, is this a tube problem or is it just time to get a new tv?
