Mend Sagem Power Rear Projection

No power to the TV?

I have a 50inch rear projection Sagem TV, i went to turn it on and there is no lights on it the cover to the left at the bottom was hanging off, which i had not noticed before, the bulb went almost bang on 5 years old and was replaced two years ago, any ideas?

Have you tried to re-secure the lamp access door ? Mine was loosely on & wouldn't power up 'til it was in firmly. Making sure the tab on it was going into the recess to reach the trigger switch.
