Mend Hoover 5010D Removed Thermostat Checked

Hoover 5010D drier?

drier just died on me. Removed small part looks like thermostat, checked continuity:there 4 terminals, Shows continuity through one set of terminals but through the others
Does it mean thermostat is broken ? Wheer can I buy second hand thermostat for this model?
