peugeot speedfight cold start?

why does my peugeot speedfight when cold take alot to start. when it does start you cant give it any throttle for a while other wise it will cut out help!!

Sounds as if your choke isnt working. The choke makes the mixture richer which is required when cold. As bike warms up the mixture gets weaker as it burns more efficantly.
