Mend Fisher and Paykel Smartdrive Washing Machine Repair

Can I fix my Fisher and Paykel smartdrive washing machine?

I have a Fisher and Paykel smartdrive. The machine starts and the water pumps into the machine in short bursts on and off about 5 times then the machine stops and beeps and the lights pattern changes. I have turned the machine off and waited then tried again, however the same thing happens. The manual advises to call a dealer once this occurs but doesn't say what is wrong with it. Can anyone help with what is wrong and whether we can repair it ourselves.

I have the same problem on a GW52-F. The error light that is light is third from the right. (Spray Rinse ). Any help would be most appreciated.

You need to take note of which lights are on & which are off along the top row. This will tell the fault code. Sounds like it may be either the lid switch or the out of balance switch. Post the fault code & also the model number from the back of the machine on this site or else e-mail me.
