Mend InSinkErator Badger 1 Unit Water Power

insinkerator badger 1 leaking?

i have a insinkerator badger 1 disposal unit and it leaks. the water seems to be coming out of the hole where the power cord enters the unit. can this be repair or should i replace the unit ? the unit is about 7 yrs.old.

forget about it... I have one where the weld seam in the housing has failed after 4 years.. .how convenient! The warranty was good for 3 years. Both of us need to get new ones.
