Mend Insinkerator 444 Stuck Working Turn

Insinkerator 444 reset button stuck in?

My insinkerator 444 disposal stopped working. It hums when you turn it on, but does not turn. I have tried turning it using the alan wrench, and it turns freely. The reset button is stuck in and so I cannot push it to reset it. Is there a way to get the reset button to pop out? Cycling the electrical breaker hasn't done it. What next?

Are you sure it is stuck in? Some of them feel like that but if you press really hard you will hear a click and it will reset.
