Mend Singer 201K Gear Model

Singer 201K gear driven or belt?

I have the 201K Model Singer Machine which was built in the 1950's. It is portable, electrical, and has a foot pedal. How can I tell if it is gear driven or has a belt. .

Hello Hazel,
You will soon know if it is gear driven because you will see the motor as part of the body, you will clearly see the belt otherwise.
