Squeaky Back Brakes?

How do I stop the back brakes on a 04 nissan micra from sqeaking when ever I brake gently. If I rake hard it sems to go. Thanks, Paul.

I think that this car has brake drums at the back and the squeak could be down to a build up of brake dust inside the drums. Either way it would do no harm to remove the drums and inspect the linings replace or clean up as required.
