I realise the wheels shouldnt lock up with abs, but it is a case where the pedal wont even allow you to push hard enough to require the abs to operate. The pedal locks up before anything other than gentle braking is required. It is fine in general use, but should I need to perform an emergency stop, I am sure it will not stop the car suddenly. Braking performance is limited to whatever pressure can be excerted within the first inch or so of pedal movement.
I only mentioned abs, as I didnt know if the system may cause a fault felt at the pedal, where normal pedal travel is being restricted.
It literally feels as if something is jamming the pedal near to the top of its travel, rather than allowing complete and normal pedal deflection.
