Mend Maytag 214A Switch Water Repair

How do I fix the temperature switch on my Maytag washer, Model 214A?

My Maytag washer model 214A has a 3 button switch to change water temperature. The button is stuck in the cold/cold position and I cannot get it to change to warm/cold or hot/cold. How can I fix it myself?

Hello,

I am not getting anything with that model number but usually the temp switch is located in the console. Just remove the console screws and you can access the switch.
