Mend Triton Opal Electric Shower Low Pressure Hot Water

Triton opal temperature varies from hot to cold ?

The shower is 2 1/2 years old .water pressure is ok,showerhead is not blocked,and the pipe not twisted,why does the low pressure switch turn on and the water runs cold,then turns off and the water runs hot. Triton Opal electric shower.

Had this before with Triton showers - usually means scaling of the can which causes it to overheat and trip out the thermostat switch on top. You may be able to remove the can and run some descaling solution through it, but rarely works for me - a new can is usual;ly the only answer. Sorry !!
