Mend Peugeot 206 Driving Engine Light

power loss on peugeot 206?

i have a peugeot 206 2003 1.1ltr,
i was driving along and the engine managment light came on and the car lost power and started to just chugg along with no power, its like its just ticking over and when u put foot on throttle it revs very slow and when u pull off it just has nothing there at all. i have checked oil n water and they ok i have replaced spark plugs and that not worked either.
