Mend Peugeot 406 Immobiliser Ignition

Peugeot 406 immobiliser?

Peugeot 406 immobiliser red light comes on when keypad is opened but as soon as the ignition key is turned on the light just fades away and neather red or green lights show you are unable to key in the code or start the engine. Any suggestions?
