Mend Craftsman Mower Pulled Runs

lawn mower starts with choke pulled but wont run when its pushed in?

I can start my craftsman mower with the choke on runs irratic but when i try to push choke in it dies tried to adjust cable it makes it worse. I had a fuel issue at the first of the season and blew the tank and filter out but didnt really it run right now it dies even when the choke is out, as soon as i take off
