My sky box just stopped working and for every channel there is a message which says ,"there is a technical fault with this channel please try later" and scheduled information is not available
My sky+ box is stuck on standby - the man from Sky says hold down the left + right buttons on the box and switch it on - hold for upto a min - or until the a green or blue light appears on the "recording circle" - that will reboot the system (presumably losing everything recorded to date) but better than no sky during the summer holidays! Are they programmed to break at bad times!!!?? I'm off to see if it works for me.
Useless with anything modern!

Unplug it from the mains and wait a while (10 mins) plug back in and it will probably be ok.
