The sky remote control is not working?

The remote control has stopped working on both my small kitchen television and the main television. The television listing page is stuck on the all channels section and will not navigate to any other programmes. I have checked the batteries but this is the same for both sky controls. The red light shows when any of the buttons are pressed. I have taken the plug out of the back of the sky box and left it for a few seconds but it still failed to work.
