Mend Thomson 27LCD B03B Tv Problem Seconds

Thomson 27LCD B03B cycling on then off?

This tv comes on ok with no sign of a problem with the picture or sound...then 6 seconds later it goes off to standby...then 6 seconds later it comes back on and continues on this on/off cycle perminantly...any ideas guys? I would be grateful of any help.
