Mend Conia CA1800 Temperature Automatically Switch

conia CA1800 wont heat?

My conia cools really well, but it will not heat.
If I select a temperature higher than outside/ room temperature it does not seem to automatically switch from cooling to heating mode.

Is there a button on the remote control to do this or is there a button on the actual unit I need to press?

I don't think it is a mechanical problem. A technician took a bout 3 secnds to get it going last time but he was so fast I diddn't see what he did!
