tv had been on stand by for a week I switched it off at the socket for a short time now tv wont go on and standby light does'nt go on either,power is definately getting to the tv have checked that with a tester,tv is 20yrs old,its my dads and he does'nt like throwing things away but might have to.thanks for your help.
