Mend Citroen Saxo Door Open Drivers Inside

how can i fix a door handle on my citroen saxo?

the car unlocks but you can only open drivers door from the inside. how do i mend this?

Citroen Citroen Saxo Vehicles, Cars Door Open Drivers Inside

take off interior panel. look up at door handle from inside. the rod from door lock to outside handle has probably come out of clip or clip has broken.
