Mend Hotpoint WM63P Motor Find

Hotpoint wm63p?

I have taken the motor out and inspected it cant find any dmamge to coil, except for a tiny fused bit on the inner coil. Can I test any of the terminal connectors with a multimeter to see if the motor is shorting, so that I definately know that the motor needs to be replaced
