Hotpoint WM72 Ultima 1200: Error E30?

Hello:

My Hotpoint Ultima 1200 suddenly started reporting error E30, and no motor activity beyond the first water fill at the start of any program. As far as I can make out from this site, E30 indicates a motor drive problem. I've already checked the brushes, and whilst they are low, they're fine. Next, I checked continuity into the motor, which is also fine (brushes eliminated in this test as well). So, then checked for sufficient voltage into the motor, and couldn't find any.

My question: do we agree this now looks like the main motor control board (contains relays, triacs, and into which the motor directly connects (not the microcontroller/display board which is located behind it)? Thanks in advance.

Hotpoint Ultima Household Appliances, Washing Machines Hotpoint Wm72 Hello

Have just had an E30 error, motor not spinning and after a "take it all apart" moment the connector had come out of its plug connector on the motor (just been shaken out with use). Have put it back in, added a tie wrap and back to normal.

I also have the E30 displayed. I have checked the pump and hoses and cannot feel any blockages. Pump impellar feels stiff however. Machine seems to fill OK and starts to empty but after a few seconds cuts out and siplays this message. I think this is just before teh motor should kick in to turn the drum. mI fitted new brushes a month ago and it has worked fine till now. Any ansers?

Also, if you have taken the front of the machine off (to fix bearings, spider etc.) make sure the wiring to the door lock is in the correct order (white, black, brown - from left to right looking at front of machine).

E30 is a pump problem. I bought a machine n came up with this error
n was told was broken pump n they fixed it. several weeks later it came up again so i looked at the pump and it was blocked. unfasten the pump n check for blockages.
