Mend Hotpoint WMA44p Washing Machine Motor Belts

Hotpoint WMA44p front loading washing machine is not agitating or spinning?

Hotpoint WMA44p front loading washing machine is not agitating or spinning. It fills and drains (checked this using the cancel programme icon ! and seems okay). I think I can hear motor so presume its belts or coupling issues. Where do i start as I cant find a service manual online for this machine?

not very often the belt goes on this machine more likely the carbon brushes in the motor,common fault if you open the door and can spin the drum veryfreely then its the belt,but if you feel resistence then its the brushes
