Mend Renault Laguna 2 1800 Starting Start

Starting Probs on Laguna 2?

I have a 2001 Renault Laguna 2 1800 petrol.

Every now and again I can not start the car. It turns over for absolutely ages but wont start then even when I try it a few times during the day and if I'm lucky it will start the next day.

Could it be a camshaft or crankshaft sensor.
