Renault Laguna's starting problem?

how can I solve the problem with my W Reg 1600cc Renault Laguna's problem. Starting off on a journey it starts 10/10 times but after arriving at my destination when I want to return 50% of the time, usually when I'm furthest away from home the car fails to start even though the starter motor works but the car fails to start and several times after arranging for a tow after it turns up, giving it one last try the damn thing starts as if nothing has been wrong, - please help me.
