Mend Numatic Henry Shut Itself Off

Why does my "Henry" shut itself off?

I have a Henry type vacuum. It's started to switch itself off after about 3 minutes of use.
There's no smell or heat or any obvious problem that I can see.
The suction is good and the noise level is normal. It just switches itself off!!
Please help me before I take an axe to it.
