Mend Ryobi Lawnmower Pull Mower

how can i fix my lawnmower ?

how do i remove the pull cord housing to change the broken cord, it has three ribbets. the mower is a ryobi mower.

The pull cord assembly is part of the housing. Remove the housing and turn it over, you then have access to the assembly. Check to see if spring is broken by winding it in the right direction until its tight, then unwind one turn and install rope. you need 7 ft if the rope is on your handle and 4 ft if it is on top of your engine.
