Last night the machine made a loud grating sound(metal on metal) then blew the house electrics. when I put the machine on drain after switching thr breaker back on their are no issues, however when I attempted to spin the items it started to drain then blew the electrics again. (usually this is when the machine starts to spin I think.
Can anyone tell me what the possible issue may be? At the moment i am presuming that the motoror bushes has gone.

motor brushes going don't tend to cause electrics to blow/trip.sounds more like the commutator on the motor has burnt out and a whole new motor will be required
