Mend GE Hydroheater Manual Unlock Door

Is there a manual unlock for the door?

GE Hydroheater washing machine.

The door is locked, door lock is lit. Nothing else comes on. When it is plugged back up door locked comes on, door won't open with any button. Something may be logdged in the door. Can't get to anyone to get answer with GE.

Is there a way to manually unlock the door?
