FIXING OF TAMPER AFTER CABLE CUT?

RECENTLY A CARPET FITTER CUT THE FOUR WIRES OF ONE OF MY CABLES . WHEN I TRIED TO CONNECT THEM BACK AGAIN , I E BLACK TO BLACK YELLOW TO YELLOW BLUE TO BLUE AND RED TO RED, THE SYSTEM CAME UP TAMPER AND I AM UNABLE TO RECTIFY IT, CAN YOU ADVISE PLEASE? MODEL OPTIMA XM
