How can I fix my Simpson Genesis that still won't spin?

My simpson genesis washing machine won't spin. Have had feedback to check brake solanoid. Yes it clonks on and off as meant to. Have taken it out and had it checked. All good there. Pump also functioning fine. Someone suggested checking the filter but cant seem to locate it and cant understand the link. what are the two belts for and where is the gear thingy someone mentioned in previous answer. All help appreciated as washing piling up and sun is shining again. Thanks to previous responder. Novice washer woman!
