Mend Hand Clothes Water

I have a hand held clothes steamer?

The unit heats up, but no steam will come out. Have tried putting a little vinegar in with water to clean holes, but didn't do any good. I emailed the company, and their answer suggested to purchase a new steamer. Won't buy that make again. Any suggestions welcome.
