My bissel proheat wont suck up water from floor and as soon as i turn it on, the red door shuts

If your Bissell ProHeat won’t suck up water and the red door shuts immediately, the dirty-water tank or float valve is triggering. Remove and refit the dirty tank so it clicks in properly, clean the float so it moves freely, and clear any blockage in the nozzle or suction path.
