Mend Hoover TC650 Drum Tumble

Hoover TC650 drum wont go round?

My Hoover Condenser Tumble Dryer TC650 is heating ok (and then a burning smell) but the drum won't go round. For a while now I have not had to empty the water container but the clothes have been drying fine. Now the drum won't go round at all but can be moved by hand. Is this a major repair? Please help

Have you checked the belt? It may have slipped or broken. If so, refit or replace. Fairly cheap spare to pick up - but a bit of a nuisance to fit.
