My bushwacker stops running when I give it throttle. It has low hours. Replaced fuel lines, took carb apart and cleaned it out and reassembled. Did this twice with same results, it starts great but dies as soon as I give it throttle. Also replaced fuel pick up filter.
Just finished replacing all fuel and primer gas lines and the bushwacker is still running for a short while and then bogs down and dies.
Don't know what's going on.

Hi,
Screw the carb adjustment screw that is fatherest from the engine all the way in. NOW, back it out 3 full turns. Try it again. This is too rich but may allow the fuel to go past a gummed up port hole. It it runs, run it for a few minutes before you start tightning the scwer to get the best response. You want to gun it with little or no bogging down. I work on small engines for a living. I also do NOT recommend the Homelite brand. To hard to work on. Cheers
