Craftsman weed Wacker gas trimmer 32 cc md.989 796060?

The weed Wacker will not start.I have changed the spark plug but it will still not run. I noticed the fuel cap is leaking gas. Will not seal.

try changing the fule/ gas.. for clean gas. make sure the mix is right not to strong. clean the air filter, use the choke till it kicks, them turn the choke off , and try start it.
