which direction is to remove the bolt on the main drive pulley

I had an oil seal leak at the drive shaft. Pulled electric clutch off with impact wrench easily. The drive pulley was froze to the shaft. I used my die grinder to cut through the side after the pulley puller bent it out of shape. Once the cut was made I used a chisel and hammer to spread the cut and got it off. The shaft was rusted and pitted. I purchased a new pulley from dealer. $31.29 Could have gone to e-bay but didn't want to wait. I used anti seize after cleaning shaft. I did pull the engine to do this job.

I need assistance on pulley under the 22hp courage kohler engine. Is this the pto? It is making all kinds of noise and the pulley seems to be dropped down. I tried pulling up diagram and all I get is picture of pto,

You may have to drop the crankshaft pulley far enough for you to get the belt back on - if it won't come down all the way, are there some belt guards in the way stopping it?
