How do I drain my hotpoint aquarius?

Sounds as though you might have a hole in your door seal adjacent to the door lock and water has got into the door interlock causing it to trip out the mains, if so drain the machine by putting the end of the waste hose into a large bowl [make sure you have a couple in case it overfills] but then with the mains disconnected check your door rubber in the crease for a hole by the door lock, you will need to call out an engineer really as it is not an easy job for a novice, if you need more advice contact me.
