Any ideas re the washing machine which comes to the end of the cycle but the door remains locked until the spin cycle is run again. Have checked the filter on the front and that is preety clean so there is, I suspect, a blockage somewhere.

Paul - Yes we do. The door will not open at the end of the cycle and there is still water to be seen. After spinning again, the water drains and the door opens normally. Removing the filter on the front, shows grey water still remaining in the filter hose.
We run it normally on 40 degrees, so maybe a couple of runs at 95 might melt the blockage? Unpleasant smell also from inside the machine so there is obviously something mucky in there!

This is a new one on me!. Are you leaving sufficcient time, since door interlocks remain engaged for 2 minutes or so after the cycle is finished.
