my buttons on remote wont work when pressed for instance when u press ok button nothing happens

sounds like your remote is dirty inside. if you know how to open it up, you can clean the bottom of the number keypad with some methylated spirits and a cotton bud.

if not you should consider buying a new remote from Ebay or alternatively pick up a universal remote controller from either Argos or Poundland.
